Project Management Professional (PMP)

A PMP certification is a globally recognized certification that attests to the skills and experience of a project manager. A PMP is the "MBA" of the project management industry and certifies the ability to manage the people, processes, and business priorities of professional projects. I have had the great pleasure of working as a PMP across multiple industries, including: data, technology, education, special needs, and non-profits.

My journey to becoming a PMP was less of a career choice and more of an evolution.

I often share that I did not find a vocation as much as I grew into one. I have been fortunate to find a profession that fully embraces my energy, curiosity, and love of learning. I thrive in the challenge of managing chaos, untangling knots, and bringing order to things.

Project Peeks

Literacy for All

This 2010 project was a volunteer program that went on to be corporate and community-sponsored. Ultimately this undertaking resulted in the formation of a non-profit organization expanding on the mission and vision of the founding families who wanted to create literacy and learning programs for their children with special needs.

Essential to Each Other

6 weeks into the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, this platform was created to bring in-person classes to the virtual realm. This was an aggressive project timeline by any measure. The platform allowed families and individuals to stay connected during the long, isolating months of the pandemic.
